. . . So here is the story of how it all happened with a little help from our dear friends Patty and Mike Bohan.

Little did I know that for some time Patty was working her matchmaking magic to get the two of us together. I would be in one place, and would leave and Jon would show up 5 minutes later. We always seemed to miss one another.

Well in August 2001 I had the opportunity to go see a Martina McBride concert, and just who happened to have the other extra ticket, but Jon. That was our first meeting, and yes, we had a great time. I think my Mom can even recall that I had mentioned Jon was such a great guy.

Our next meeting was in the Fall and we began a great friendship getting to know each other's friends and enjoying each other's company.

Much to Patty and Mike's delight we began dating at the end of November 2001. And well, what can we say, a romance blossomed and so did an absolutely amazing friendship.
